Menno Lievers is lecturer in philosophy. He teaches courses in the philosophy of language, the philosophy of mind and metaphysics. In 1997 he obtained his D. Phil. at the University of Oxford on a thesis entitled Knowledge of Meaning.Since 1991 he writes reviews for a Dutch newspaper ( NRC-Handelsblad). He is one of the editors of De Revisor, a magazine devoted to Dutch literature. In 2003 he published Dat is waar ('That is true'), an informal introduction to philosophical problems for children.
