After graduating from Utrecht University (1998), I worked at the
computer science department at Technion, Israel Institute of
Technology. I moved to Utrecht University in 2010, where I serve as a
professor in Semantics and Artificial Intelligence at the Utrecht Institute of Linguistics OTS. As part of my work
in Utrecht, I have led the research team on Language, Logic, and Information (2016-now) of the UiL OTS, served as the Linguistics board member of the focus area Neuroscience and Cognition (2015-7), as board member of the bachelor program in Artificial Intelligence (2016-now) and as chair of the undergraduate teaching committee in Artificial Intelligence (2011-2016). In my editorial capacities, I serve in the journals Linguistics and Philosophy, Transactions
of the Association for Computational Linguistics, Journal of Logic and
Computation, Linguistic Inquiry, Journal of Semantics, and Semantics and Pragmatics.
