Research
From February to May 2009 I have been a visiting researcher at Harvard University where I studied coalition formation in heterogeneous groups of both humans and software agents. I did this in collaboration with Arlette van Wissen, Ya’akov Gal and Virginia Dignum. Presently, I’m working on a STW, NIHC and Philips Research project that focuses on promoting sustainable lifestyle change called “Promoting effective intentions: volitional scaffolding, implementation intentions and bedtime procrastination”. Relevant research topics include procrastination, weakness of will, action theory, volitional scaffolding and human-computer interaction. This work is done under the supervision of Joel Anderson.
Curriculum Vitae
I am a graduate from Utrecht University in the field of Cognitive Artificial Intelligence (2011, cum laude). I also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Laws degree, with honours, from Utrecht University (2008). Currently I’m a PhD student at the department of Philosophy in Utrecht, under the supervision of Marcus Düwell and Joel Anderson.
