I am an Associate Professor of Political and Social Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy of Utrecht University, The Netherlands. I am currently also the Director of Studies in Philosophy of that same Department. In my research and my courses for students of Utrecht University, I concentrate on issues related to the normative foundations of liberal politics, the nature of social relations, and the foundations of social criticism.
